Preparing for your consultation
Here's what to have ready and what you can expect during the scheduling and consultation process.
Callback Within 24 Hours
After submitting your appointment request, expect our scheduling team to call you within 24 business hours to confirm your consultation date and time. We'll discuss the best appointment window based on your availability.
Prepare Your Records
Have the following documents ready: recent imaging reports (mammography, ultrasound, or MRI), pathology reports from your biopsy, and any previous medical records related to your diagnosis. Our office can help obtain missing records if needed.
Bring Your Insurance Card
Please bring a current insurance card and a photo ID to your first appointment. Our team can verify your coverage and discuss any out-of-pocket costs. All breast reconstruction surgery is covered by federal law.
Consultation Overview
During your consultation, Dr. Schwartz will review your diagnosis, discuss your concerns, explain treatment options including immediate reconstruction, and answer your questions. This is your opportunity to develop a comprehensive surgical plan.
